'New' Mets unis

I saw the story -- and got the e-mail -- yesterday of the Mets' announcement that they will wear new pinstriped uniforms in 2010. The only real difference is that they're off-white instead of pure white, a slight shift and minor nod to the original uniforms the team wore in the 1960s.

But they still have the black dropshadow -- and the black alternates -- so what's the point? Black isn't a Mets color. Kill it.
